Our client is a Pennsylvania, USA based IT Services company providing IT Support and Managed Services solutions to some of the leading companies in the US.
The company is looking for a QA Engineer to work with the PowerApps development team to deliver quality solutions to the business. The selected person will be responsible for performing end-to-end validation of stakeholder use cases for PowerApps applications. An ideal candidate should have a proven track record in software Quality Assurance, with an eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review business, functional, and design requirements to understand individual deliverables and the full end-to-end processes
- Work closely with Business Users, Software Developers, QA team to understand business and system requirements and the expectations, and to translate these requirements into test plans and cases
- Executes test scripts based upon test strategy/plans to identify defects, and any discrepancies between system behavior and expected behaviorand, to ensure that business, technical, functional requirements are being met throughout the life cycle.
- Document test results clearly
- Identify, track, and follow up on defects/bugs to take these to closure
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 4-5 years of work experience in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with a test/defect management tool to load test cases, execute them, link test cases to requirements, create/track defects, associate defects to test cases
- Must have good experience in Power Platform development environment
- Experience with Agile/Scrum
- Experience with DevOps tools and structure
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as a contributing member of a team
- Self-guided and able to provide status on testing and QA to management
