JD Edwards Business Analyst for Finance

Our client is the world's largest manufacturer of modular carpet for commercial and residential applications. Founded in 1973 the company has offices in more than 25 countries across the globe including in the USA, Canada, Germany, Japan among others.   

The company is looking for an experienced JD Edwards Analyst – Finance based in Bangalore to assist them in implementation, and support of JDE Financials modules (including AR, AP, Fin Planning, Fixed Assets, GL, Expense Management, etc).

This role required strong consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise for effective service delivery. 

Primary Job Responsibilities
- Defining, analysing and reviewing customer requirements in JDE Modules
- Work with the JD Edwards technical team to resolve technical issues 
- Configure application software to meet business requirements
- Provide end-user training and support
- Develop support proficiency in the GL, AP, AR, FA and Cost Accounting modules
- Functional testing of software upgrades and enhancements
- Defining report specs and working with end-users and technical team to deliver these
- Strong skills in providing process improvement aligning it with JD Edwards functionality and capability and the industry best practices

- Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, business administration or equivalent
- 5+ years of strong JD Edwards in implementation and application support application software
- Expertise in the core financial modules including General Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Multi-Currency, Job/Project Costing, Manufacturing Accounting, Advanced Cost Accounting, Job Costing, and Expense Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to interpret business requirements and produce project scope.
- Experience creating detailed functional design specs from business requirements
- Experience working and collaborating with Technical teams on technical specifications.
- Experience working and collaborating with remote teams in high-pressure, geographically spread, culturally diverse, international environments.
- Experience working directly with end users
- Strong business process knowledge (specific to the assigned functional area).
- Understands JDE integration methodology and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Capable of self-managing and leading a team
